Well, if they are what is causing all the problems lately with Snap, then of hate them. Otherwise, I choose to ignore them and not click on them and not give the people advertising any business from me. That’s how I take back my control for having to look at the dang things in the first place.
The ads are not too bad. I will not click on them though. I was told that once I do, a cookie is placed on m computer (in a rather hidden fashion) which will track my internet purchases and report back to the ad owner or even give them (monetary) credit for my purchases. This is unfair.
The ads on singsnap are generated by Trevor’s Google AdSense account. Every time a user goes to a different song or any other area on the site that shows an ad, Trevor gets paid a small fee by Google. In addition, when someone clicks on a merchant ad and purchases something, both Google and Trevor get a slightly larger fee.
